Biographical and Professional Information

Abe Morris is a Black professional rodeo cowboy who attended the University of Wyoming on academic and rodeo scholarships. He was a member of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association and competed on the UW rodeo team for four years, and earned a degree in Business Management. Abe obtained his PRCA announcer's card, the only African-American to have earned this distinction, and was a broadcast commentator for the telecasts of the world famous Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo (the Daddy of 'em All) for nine years with Prime Sports and Fox Sports Networks. Abe works for a Fortune 100 pension and retirement company TIAA-CREF (Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association -- College Retirement Equities Fund) in Denver, Colorado.
