Biographical and Professional Information

Betty Evenson's family settled in the town of Hiland, Wyoming, sixty miles west of Casper, in 1918. Her dad ran the Bright Spot, a one-stop service station, which she and her husband, Maurice Evenson, took over when he died. At one point after Maurice died in 1970, Betty was the only person living in Hiland. She later moved to Casper.
