Biographical and Professional Information

Dorise Marx Housley and her co-editors on "A Tale of Two Towns" were all daughters of pioneers of the small town of La Barge, Wyoming. The town was originally named Tulsa, hence the title. Their book gives accurate accounts with pictures of families who settled the region and brings to the light the coming of age of this community, which was fifty years old in 1976. In "Branches and Twigs," Housley and Wanda Sims Vasey present pictures and accounts of the families who settled in and around the La Barge area. She lived in La Barge until the end of her life.
