Biographical and Professional Information

Ella J. Cvancara is a poet with numerous poems published in many poetry journals and anthologies, and a short story author. She is editor of a yearly poetry chapbook, Voicings from the High Country, which is listed in Poet's Market and has national distribution. Ella is an oil painter and plays the piano, guitar, mandolin, and upright string bass. She is a past president of Casper Fine Arts Club and the Fiddle Club, and a past vice-president of WYOPoets. She holds two bachelor's degrees and a master's degree from the University of North Dakota.
