Biographical and Professional Information

 

Lise McClendon is a fiction writer living in Jackson Hole. Her first book, "The Bluejay Shaman," was published in 1994 and featured a Jackson art dealer, Alix Thorssen. She went on to write three more books about Alix, all mysteries. She also writes a second mystery series, set during World War II in Kansas City, Missouri. She works for the Jackson Hole Writers Conference and was active in teaching writing in Billings, Montana. She has served in leadership positions in Mystery Writers of America and the International Association of Crime Writers/North America.
