Biographical and Professional Information

 

Lucile Beaty was born on June 26, 1901, in Grand Junction, Iowa. She earned a degree in education from Colorado State Teachers College in Greeley, Colorado. She was a teacher in Wyoming oil camps from 1951 to 1966 at Hamilton Dam in Hot Springs County, and then lived in Cody, Wyoming. She traveled to 80 countries; she once spent three weeks with a Tibetan family at a village high in the Himilayan Mountains.
