Biographical and Professional Information

 

Maxwell Burt was born in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1882, and settled in Jackson Hole in 1908 with his wife, writer Katharine Newlin Burt. He homesteaded the Bar BC ranch near Moose, Wyoming, in 1912. He died in Jackson Hole. He is the father of writer Nathaniel Burt.
