Biographical and Professional Information
Alderson grew up on a plantation in the South, and met her husband, Walt, in Kansas. The two ranched in Wyoming. Alderson's memoirs, “A Bride Goes West,” were first published in 1942. She spent her last 30 summers on a ranch outside of Sheridan, Wyoming.
