Biographical and Professional Information

SHAR WILKES grew up in Wilmette, Illinois, and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Oklahoma. She has attended the National College of Education in Evanston, Illinois, the University of Wyoming, and the University of Wyoming Law School. After twenty-six years of teaching children how to read, Shar Wilkes shares her secrets of the process. Shar was a reading specialist in the Casper Public Schools where her love of teaching was reflected in her unselfish commitment and enthusiasm for her students and her profession.
