Biographical and Professional Information

Patricia Probert Gott is a retired business woman, author of ten books who now publishes her own works as well as other authors.  She resides in rural Maine.

Ms Gott owned her own business in Maine for twenty-four years before retiring. She is an accomplished equestrienne who trains her own horses. She is an adventurer and avid traveler, having traveled to forty-seven states in the United States and has been horse trekking in ten states and on five continents.

Ms Gott was a forty-year-old woman when she and her Arabian horse were hired by Glenn Fales to work summers at Rimrock Ranch. She worked as a ranch wrangler and with her Arabian horse, Razan, guided ranch guests on trail rides throughout Wapiti Valley, Washiki Wilderness and the Shoshone National Forest.

The DAYES of Wyoming is a historic novel featuring horse trainer, Bertha and mountain man, Charlie Daye. The stories take place during the late 1800s to early 1900s in northern Wyoming, from Johnson County, east of the Bighorns, to Yellowstone, west of the Continental Divide.

In So You Wanna be a Cowgirl, I made my debut as a horse wrangler at a dude ranch in Wyoming, and I met a good-looking cowboy named Dustin! This is my story

Cowgirl Days, the second book in the Cowgirl series, takes the lady wrangler to the next season training young horses and wild mustangs at Dustin's family D & L Horse Ranch in Montana. There her adventures take her from horse training to endurance racing.

She returns to the dude ranch in Wyoming to work as a wrangler and trail guide again where she experiences an exhilarating pack trip over Ptarmigan Mountain into Hardpan Basin, and works a premier pack trip from Cody to Jackson, Wyoming via Marsten Pass returning by way of Eagle Creek Pass, in a snowstorm.

_Review_

Laura Ashton wrote "Reading Pat's westerns is fun! She has strong descriptive skills that enable you as a reader to see the mountains, rivers and ranches just as they are, and the horses and people as she did while she was there. She did indeed have adventures as a female horse wrangler, met a rugged cowboy that swept her off her feet, and learned so much about an area and way of life that holds appeal for many of us. Wyoming and Montana would seem to be natural and unspoiled by our civilization back east. I encourage anyone with an adventurous spirit to pick these up and read them!"
